polo guys out with heads held high

Water polo guys after the quarter finals

Today, the se7en water polo team went out knowing that a victory would literally prove that they are the team of the season and will surely go on to win the championship. However, it was easier said than done and the task proved a tad too impossible.

Having played hall 6 before in a friendly game and losing by a margin of 19-8, the se7en polo team knew just how strong their opponent was. Missing one of their key player, Shaun Lee, the team still set out hoping to clinch a victory. Though eventually, se7en polo team fell short and lost the game 8-0.

Hall 6 started and ended the game strongly. Both their attack and defence can said to be flawless. Their strikes were strong and powerful which left our keeper with nothing much to do. Se7en tried attacking numerous times to no avail and Sam looked the closest to scoring. Unfortunately, the ball was either intercepted by their tight defense or caught by their keeper. The closest we came to scoring was through Chun, however, the shot only managed to hit the woodwork.

Se7en's hope of scoring a consolation goal was banished as the whistle was blew, signifying our early exit in the competition. But this is not to say the players had not tried their best and we'd like to extend our undying support to the players for their amazing display of true fighting spirit.

It's game on for the next IH season!
