an early exit for our table tennis team

Our hall se7en table tennis team was up against the sixers during the semi finals round. It was definitely a commendable effort put in by our team despite losing 4-1 in the five matches.

Historically, hall six has always been known for their strength in sports. Table tennis is no exception, either. The sixers were undeniably strong in their attacks and showed no sign of relenting throughout the entire game. Their players’ superior experience coupled with IVP players overpowered our team. Nonetheless, our players were determined to put up a good fight and remained in top form at any one time.

The results for the matches are as followed:

Women’s singles: 3-0

Men’s singles: 3-0

Men’s doubles: 3-0 (we won!)

Women’s doubles: 3-1

Mixed doubles: 3-0

Even though our team players were unable to clinch a position in the finals, deep down in our hearts, we know they will always be our champions! We will be back!

It is participation, and not winning, that matters. If the players have given their best to the game, there is nothing to worry about.
