Team Se7en girls successfully made it to the finals this year after beating hall 9 at the semi finals yesterday with a score of 3-0.
In the first set, the girls took the game slowly and allowed themselves to familiarize with the new indoor environment. Anxiety got the better of hall 9 as they created more errors of thier own compared to us in the first set. As a result, team se7en girls managed to take the first set with a score of 25-15.
During the second set, the girls were all warm up and ready. As such, their accurate blocks and spikes combined with their powerful service enabled them to take a huge lead. With hall 9 morale down, team se7en took this as an extra advantage and continued to perform their best and ended up winning with a score of 25-8.
In the third and final set, the girls started to lose a little of their focus as they created many service and spikes errors. This allowed hall 9 to take the lead initially. However, after a time out called, the girls manged to focus and concentrate before taking the last set down with a score of 25-18.
As such, the girls will play in the finals and will be fighting for the gold with defending champion -- hall 2. All the way team se7en! :)
