Squash into QFs!

Hall 7 squash team has already fought 3 matches and advanced into the quarter finals. The first match was a tough match against hall 6. They were defeated 4-1 but of course their hopes did not shatter. With more experience and exposure, the team went on to meet hall 13. The team, donned in white and blue, set out to play their game with a display of wild strokes, killer services and racket work. In the end they emerged victorious with a 5-0 win. Although elated, the team knew that complacency only leads to failure. They continued to strive hard and trained to prepare for the coming match which was crucial. It was essential to win as only then will they move on to the next round. Clueless who their next opponents are, they could only wait to see which of the halls won the qualifying match. It was a fight between hall 6 and hall 8. Hall 6 won in the very end (No doubt a tough competitor because they won us) after a grueling session, having everybody’s heart in their mouths. It was then decided that hall 7 was to face hall 8 in the qualifying match on a bright sunny Sunday morning. That day, the sky was bright and the weather was awesome, a good sign! They even changed the racket grip to a new red grip-more good luck! But of course these are only minor issues which led to the win. The players were the key to the win. So anyway, the fixture was good, the match was better and the players were the best. They fought and ran and cheered and finally won with a score of 4-1. After this match, the players are greatly encouraged and will continue to put their best feet forward for their upcoming match on the 15th of January against hall 16.
