Even though there was a delay in starting the match, Se7en volleyball males’ team kept their focus and was hell bent on winning. The first qualifying match started between hall 7 and hall 5. It was familiar faces as the team remained mostly intact from last year’s team. Thus, the teamwork and understanding can be said to be second to none. The team started with their traditional cheer and team rousing which proves to be a morale booster.
Even though this was a ‘customary’ match in which Se7en started as hot favourites, the team did not take things lightly nor undermine our opponent’s ability. Team Se7en started strongly and ended both sets in similar fashion as we beat Hall Five 26-6 and 25-8 respectively. Although Se7en volleyball males were leading all the way, the players did not stop to take a breather but instead played even harder to the loud cheers coming from fellow residents.
Once again, it’s job done and job well done and Se7en volleyball males’ team will train even harder and promise to come back even stronger for the next match. Let’s await their next victory on next Saturday, 22nd December where all eyes will be fixed upon how Se7en will overcome Hall 3 who is also one of the hot favourites to win this tournament.
Way to go, Team Se7en Volleyball Males...
