volleyball girls to QFs!

Jinzhen serves the ball

The volleyball girls faced hall six in their second match of the preliminary rounds this morning.

In the first set, team se7en girls swiftly defeated hall six girls with a score of 25-4 through their powerful service yet again. However, tables turned in the second set as hall six came back into the game fiercely by taking a large lead of 8-0 through their service. With many mistakes made by team se7en in the beginning, a time out was soon called. The girls, together with their coach, tried to re-strategize their attacks and defences and tried to recover back quickly by making less uncalled mistakes of their own. Although the girls tried catching up in the second set, it was a little too late and set two was dominated by hall six with a score of 20-25. As the next set will decide the eventual winner, Se7en girls quickly regained their calm and steady composure. They attacked and defended well and had the upperhand throughout the entire set and finally won the final set with a score of 25-8. Team se7en won hall six girls with a score of 2-1.

They will face hall one next.
