PLAYER INJURED, BUT NETBALLERS OFF TO WINNING WAYS

Despite having one of their main players injured, the netballers started their IHG campaign with a convincing victory over Hall 3.

Yizhen, an IVP netballer, sprained her ankle when she collided into one of our members, Suvee, during the 3rd quarter. While it was a tense moment in the game, our girls worked together emerge victorious.

The attackers’ accurate passes to Charmain, goal shooter, saw Hall 7 pull ahead in the 1st quarter with a score of 8-2.

While Hall 3 fought hard in the 2nd quarter, the girls fended them off to hold the score 13-5 by half time.

With Yizhen down in the sidelines after the 3rd quarter, the netballers were strong enough to win the game 25-10, even though they fielded new netball players such as Leilei, who was previously a canoeist in junior college.

The win over Hall 3 will see them meeting Hall 12 in the next game.
