Cheers Hall 7!
There's nothing much to report for yesterday's first qualifying matches for water polo and soccer as Hall 7 won both games due to walk overs.
For the water polo game, Hall 14 did not turn up for the game at all and our water polo guys ended up playing a friendly game with another hall. It was good practice though as our guys were able to hone their skills with one of the strongest hall in water polo. Though we lost the friendly, it definitely shed light as to where we stand and what to improve on.
The same senario was experienced over at the muggy and soggy soccer pitch as there was a mixed up in the timing of the kick-off which both Hall 7 and Hall 16 were unaware of. However, by a stock of luck, our guys were down early on the pitch for their training before the game and thus, we managed to qualify for the winners' play round. However, even though a 45 minutes grace was given to Hall 16, they did not manage to turn up with a complete team. Thus, Hall 7 was granted easy victory without even showcasing their skills. However, the Se7en's soccer team must feel honoured for it's the first time they had supporters cheering them on for what seemed like a usual training session.
GO GO SE7EN GUYS!
