Team Se7en basketball males played against hall 12 in their very first qualifying game. It was all sweat and brawl as Se7en got their deserved victory. The rain came untimely and the game had to be postponed to half an hour later, but that did not stop our boys who are already experiencing their adrenalin rush and ready to crush their opponent.
Team Se7en started strongly, keeping possession within their court for most of the first half and crafted a comfortable lead. Thus, our team ended the first 2 quarters with the score of 13-3.
After the half-time prep talk, our basketball guys intended to come on stronger than before to kill the game quickly. However, their depleted energy allowed hall 12 to gain an upper hand in the start of the second half. Our opponent controlled the game and had more of the possession, however, they were unable to convert their chances. Team se7en capitalised on their mistakes and mistimed shots to continue leading the game. The team did not flash out fanciful skills but kept to the basics and won the game with the standard shots. Hall 12 had a few three point shots which allowed them to not suffer too huge a defeat and gave Se7en's supporters a few scares along the way.
However, Team Se7en knew victory was theirs and soon wrapped up the game with a score of 26-15, thus winning their first basketball males qualifying game.
